I have spent a good portion of my life feeling less than healthy and happy.
Beginning in my teens, I have struggled with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and eventually stage 3 Adrenal Fatigue that has taken 10 years to fully heal.
I got to a point where getting out of bed in the morning was next to impossible.
I couldn’t exercise more than a daily walk, and even that was a struggle.
I had to give up workouts, weights and running because I was too depleted and unwell to do anything high intensity.
My career never really took off because I didn’t have the mental, emotional or physically energy to go all in.
My mood was all over the map, and I often just felt like a hot mess in every area of my life.
I felt painfully alone in my health struggles.
I tried EVERYTHING I could to figure out and ‘fix’ myself.
NOTHING was working.
I believe that having someone to hold my hand, and guide me in those dark moments when I believed I’d never get well or be happy again, would have provided comfort, and probably shortened the time I spent feeling so awful.
But, I see it now, that I was meant to go through that struggle, so that I can now teach others who are suffering in the same areas.
I can guide and lead you through because I have been there.
I have seen the dark days, and having come through the other side,
I have a fierce passion for helping women to avoid getting to where I once was – and guiding them toward whole healing, mind, body, heart, and soul.
These days I am running again, lifting weights, going full on after my dreams and goals, feeling joy and playfulness and lightness and deep gratitude for my life, and the health issues I was given.
I am stronger, and much more resilient and I know what I need to do (and not do) to stay in balance, and to avoid going down that road again.
I feel in charge of my health and well-being, and let me tell you that this is a HUGE gift.
To lose health, and regain the ability to do the simple things, like jumping on the trampoline and playing with my kids, running the trails, having the energy to get through the day with more to spare, I don’t take this for granted!
