If fatigue has become something you have to cope with every day, and you’re finding it more, and more difficult to keep up with your daily responsibilities, and get it all done, I have some tips to share with you that are critical to good energy levels, whether you have Adrenal Fatigue or not.
Fatigue can be caused by many factors and issues, so I don’t want to over-simplify this since this can be a complex issue in some cases. For the purpose of offering you an overview that will help you start to pinpoint what may be going on, I will cover some simple things you can start doing in your life that are part of recovering from chronic fatigue and exhaustion.
Here are 7 tips to help you begin to restore some energy by reducing your stress load.
5) Maca Root. Try using Maca powder in a smoothie in the morning or early afternoon. Maca is an adaptogenic herb know for increasing energy and balancing hormones. Make sure it says “gelatinized” on the package as this is best digested and assimilated by the body. Add 1 tsp to your smoothie. I include more energizing snacks inside my full Breakthrough Burnout program.
6)Take 5 -10 minutes daily to meditate. Studies show that as little as 10 minutes daily increases our brain function, and can actually help us feel more calm and energized throughout the day. 10 minutes morning and at night is ideal. Think you don’t know how to meditate? My quick crash course will help you get started.
7) Get more sleep! 7-8 hours every night. If you can’t sleep, it is essential to get to the root of why, rather than taking prescription sleeping pills as a solution, and take action to prioritize sleep. The body needs adequate sleep to function, maintain hormone balance, and allow for healing and rebuilding.
You can recover from chronic fatigue, and the first step is getting to the root cause of why you are so exhausted.
